Driver Privacy Policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ridsz (“Ridsz”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit ridsz.com or join our driver early-access list in Orlando. Ridsz has not launched yet; this policy covers our pre-launch website and driver early-access list. We will update it before our rideshare service and app become available.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you join the driver early-access list, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your mobile number (required, so we can contact you about driving with Ridsz);
- your city, if you choose to provide it;
- that you signed up as a driver, and the language you signed up in.
We do not collect driver’s license, vehicle, insurance, Social Security or background check information at this stage. When driver onboarding opens, we will explain what information is needed, why, and how it is protected before we ask for it.
If you email us, we also receive your email address and anything you include in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you view. We may also use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that use cookies or similar technologies to help us understand how visitors use the site.
How we use your information
- To send you updates about the Ridsz launch and about driving with Ridsz.
- To contact you by email or phone when driver sign-up opens, including the requirements and next steps.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To understand interest in driving with Ridsz and plan our launch.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Your mobile number. We use your mobile number only to contact you about driving with Ridsz. We will not send you marketing text messages unless you separately agree to receive them, and you can ask us to stop contacting you by phone at any time.
Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can contact us at any time to stop receiving messages.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you, such as our website hosting provider, email delivery services and analytics providers. They may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Ridsz, our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use cookies that are needed for the website to work and, where used, analytics cookies that tell us how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, although some features may not.
How long we keep your information
We keep your early-access details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them for the launch purposes described above. We may keep limited information for longer where the law requires it.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to sign-up records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any issue.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- stop contacting you.
Depending on where you live (for example California or another state with a consumer privacy law), you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children’s privacy
Our website and early-access lists are intended for adults (18 or older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, including when Ridsz launches. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant we will let early-access members know by email.
